The situation where one might feel to be on either end of the scenario could be seen two ways. It’s a numbers game. The majority will always feel themselves to be virtuous, sane and good and will censure those that dissent from the common mob narrative. The dissenters will always feel themselves to be the only sane ones present. The minority and majority both want to be the virtuous ones. Both sides think that the other is crazy for not thinking as they do. The controllers of the narrative obviously want to increase the number of believing, cult members. A commitment to suicide and genocide is key.

These days, debate or discussion is no longer allowed to settle disputes or discover common ground or understand. These days, manufactured consent or coercion through fear are used in place of science, common sense and reason to direct public opinion and action. Segregation, a la Apartheid, is now in effect. The masked insane against the unmasked, the vaxxed against the sane. It seems incredible that entire populations could be cajoled, jollied and pushed into accepting experimental drugs as a soothing salvation to a contrived and orchestrated, world wide fraudulent pandemic. Cognitive Dissonance refers to a situation involving conflicting attitudes, beliefs or behaviors that produces feelings of mental discomfort that requires a change in beliefs to reduce the discomfort and perception. People need to find the path of perception or least resistance. Fear and confusion cause pain. People naturally want to avoid pain. Victims of torture will say and actually believe anything just to make the pain stop. They can be made to believe that two plus two equals five…and feel good about it. The insane tormentor renders their victim insane.

They are both relieved. Who is sane? Who is crazy?

‘Catch 22’ is an unwritten law over situations where you are prevented from doing or saying one thing without doing or saying another, with both outcomes being undesirable. A solution to a dilemma or problem is rendered impossible because it is also the cause of the problem. It is a situation in which one can’t win because one is trapped by a paradox. The term arose from a 1955 satirical novel written by Joseph Heller on the insanity, hilarity and vulgarity of a segment of the allied bombing command during the second world war. The major premise of the book and film is that any pilot or crew member that requested to stop flying missions was perfectly sane for doing so and that the only way anyone could be grounded was if they were deemed to be insane or crazy.

From the novel in a scene with Doc Daneeka and Yossarian –

Yossarian looked at him soberly and tried another approach.

“Is Orr crazy?”

“He sure is, ” Doc Daneeka said.

“Can you ground him?”

“I sure can. But first he has to ask me to. That’s part of the rule.”

“Then why doesn’t he ask you to?”

“Because he’s crazy,” Doc Daneeka said. “He has to be crazy to keep flying combat missions after all the close calls he’s had. Sure, I can ground Orr. But he has to ask me to.”

“That’s all he has to do to be grounded?”

“That’s all. Let him ask me”

“And then you can ground him?” Yossarian asked.

“No. Then I can’t ground him.”

“You mean there’s a catch?”

“Sure there’s a catch, ” Doc Daneeka replied. “Catch 22. Anyone who want’s to get out of combat duty isn’t really crazy.”

There was only one catch and that was Catch-22, which specified that a concern for one’s safety in the face of danger that were real and immediate was the process of a rational mind. Orr was crazy and could be grounded. All he had to do was ask; and as soon as he did, he would no longer be crazy and would have to fly more missions. Orr would be crazy to fly more missions and sane if he didn’t, but if he was sane he had to fly them. If he he flew them he was crazy and didn’t have to ; but if he didn’t want to he was sane and had to. Yossarian was moved very deeply by the absolute simplicity of this clause of Catch-22 and let out a respectful whistle. “That’s some catch, that Catch-22,” he observed.

Today, healthy and sane people are being ostracized and labeled as crazy, extreme right wing conspiracy theorists for suggesting that masks and experimental, harmful vaccines are dangerous and deadly. The crazy and brainwashed are perfectly okay with the killing of the sane and most vulnerable to preserve the lives and well being of the insanely healthy. Compliance to deadly mandates to preserve life and ‘keep everyone safe’ is considered normal.

But is this crazy?
