SunCity – Crickets
Poly Tics . Social StudiesSouth Africa enacted Apartheid as a policy of Racial segregation. Racial segregation was widely practiced in South Africa before 1948 but when the National Party, led by Daniel Malan, gained office that year, it extended the policy and gave it the name ‘Apartheid’ The implementation of apartheid, often called ‘separate development’ since the 1960s, was made possible through the Population Registration Act of 1950, which classified all South Africans as either Bantu (all Black Africans), Colored (those of mixed race), or white. A fourth category—Asian (Indian and Pakistani)—was later added.
It’s well proven that racial segregation and discrimination of any kind is inhuman and often results in economic privation, conflict, violence, and atrocities.
South African President F.W. de Klerk in 1990–91 repealed most of the social legislation that provided the legal basis for apartheid, including the Population Registration Act. Systematic racial segregation remained deeply entrenched in South African society, though, and continued on a de facto basis. A new constitution that enfranchised Blacks and other racial groups was adopted in 1993 and took effect in 1994. All-race national elections, also in 1994, produced coalition government a with a Black majority led by antiapartheid activist and domestic terrorist, Nelson Mandela, the country’s first Black president. These developments marked the end of legislated apartheid but not the end of its entrenched social and economic effects.
There is strong evidence that ‘Mamma Winnie’ actually ran things.
In 1997, her bodyguard from the 1980s, Jerry Richardson, told South Africa’s Truth and Reconciliation Committee that he beat, tortured and killed people whenever she told him to. His boss sometimes participated in the beatings, Richardson said. Madikizela-Mandela denied the murder allegations, but later apologized to the families of two of the victims.
She was convicted and sentenced to six years in prison for two of the deaths, but the sentence was reduced to a fine on appeal.
In 2003, she was sentenced to four years in prison on dozens of counts of theft and bank fraud. A judge ruled that she profited from loans to poor people who could not get them without a letter from her.
‘Ah Mandela!’
‘Again!’
‘Ah Mandela!’
Apartheid ended in South Africa in 1990 when Nelson Mandela was released from prison.
Sun City was a resort in South Africa that catered to wealthy white tourists. Many famous entertainers performed there despite the racist apartheid policy.
‘Ain’t Gonna Play Sun City’ was one of the first collaborations among major recording stars to support a political, rather than a social cause. The project raised over $1 million dollars for anti-apartheid efforts.
The legacy of this song and event is that it helped expose apartheid, a system of forced discrimination in South Africa.
Somewhere in thereabouts, the wall came down and the world was freed from Communist tyranny and oppression and the world was at long last united in freedom and justice for all.
The song that united us :
We’re rockers and rappers united and strong
We’re here to talk about South Africa we don’t like what’s
going on
It’s time for some justice it’s time for the truth
We’ve realized there’s only one thing we can do
I ain’t gonna play Sun City
Relocation to phony homelands
Separation of families I can’t understand
23 million can’t vote because they’re black
We’re stabbing our brothers and sisters in the back
I ain’t gonna play Sun City
Our government tells us we’re doing all we can
Constructive Engagement is Ronald Reagan’s plan
Meanwhile people are dying and giving up hope
This quiet diplomacy ain’t nothing but a joke
I ain’t gonna play Sun City
Boputhuswana is far away
But we know it’s in South Africa no matter what they say
You can’t buy me I don’t care what you pay
Don’t ask me Sun City because I ain’t gonna play
I ain’t gonna play Sun City
It’s time to accept our responsibility
Freedom is a privilege nobody rides for free
Look around the world baby it can’t be denied
Why are we always on the wrong side
I ain’t gonna play Sun City
Relocation to phony homelands
Separation of families I can’t understand
23 million can’t vote because they’re black
We’re stabbing our brothers and sisters in the back
There was period in the 80’s where the clamour for rights and freedoms was escalated to include the collaborative efforts of pop and rock stars and music genre of every demographic. ‘We Are The World’ was a cry for equality and unity, to aid the victims or war, famine, and economic terrorism waged by first world hegemony, imperialism, colonialism and religious ideology. ‘Do They Know It’s Christmas’ was a misguided grift for charity during the greatest annual, pagan, corporate retail, institution devised that minimizes the true meaning of Christmas. Still, these social justice events, while providing the immediate satisfaction of virtue of Faith, Hope, and Charity, had little long term effect on the suffering of the poor or moved the global powers to change their ways.
Fast forward to round about now, and a new, more acceptable form of apartheid has emerged as medical tyranny undertaken by alphabet mobs like The WHO, UN, WEF, NHS, NIH, EU, and so many other undemocratically elected or appointed agencies pushing for a NWO. Other forms of discrimination and segregation are being widely implemented to create conflict and demoralization between people using newly created or remanufactured mobs of racial and sexual identity ideologues. We are no longer brothers and sisters. Destabilization and destruction is key to ‘building back better.’
Sing your little hearts out.
Give generously.
South Africa is celebrating their independence and freedom from white colonialism.
“South Africa is on the brink of collapse. After years of corruption, mismanagement and poor investment, the fruits of the once-promising country have turned rancid. As the country’s leaders grapple with the impending disaster on their hands, tensions are boiling over. Tito Mboweni, the finance minister, launched a series of tweets underscoring the gravity of the situation: “If you cannot effect deep structural economic reforms, then game over! Stay as you are and you are downgraded to Junck [sic] Status!! The consequences are dire. Your choice.” – From The National News
And let’s not talk about ‘The White Genocide’ that is not happening in south Africa or the demographic replacement of Europe and North America that is also not happening.
