Suicidal Cult of the Pointless Symbolic COVID-19 Mask

Cults have been around for a while. A cult is a social group that is defined by its unusual religious, spiritual, or philosophical beliefs, or by its common interest in a particular personality, object or goal. An older description of the word ‘cult’ is ‘a set of religious devotional practices that are conventional within their culture, are related to a particular figure, and are often associated with a particular place’…like Stonehenge or any meeting point of the ‘The Children of God’ whose leader claims that child-adult sex is mandated by God. The idea of the cult is relatively modern. English lexicographers record the earliest use of ‘cult’ in the early 1600s. It was adapted from the French word ‘culte’. That word was derived from the Latin word ‘cultus’, which is the root for other words like cultivate and culture. The idea of a specific type of worship was only applied during the great religious upheavals in early modern Europe.

Although rarely used for over 200 years, usage of the world ‘cult’ became popular during the 1800s – when the well educated and academia became more interested in early religious practices and as the field of archaeology became more popular and greater attention was given to evidence of ancient places and traditions of worship.

There have been several cults of note that have emerged in recent times, many of which still exist in fringe populations. Many have proven to be extremely dangerous and fatal to it’s members.

The Branch Davidians were founded by David Koresh after he was expelled by the Mormon church for his radical theology. Koresh taught his followers that the world would soon end and that he, Koresh, spoke the word of God. The group settled in Waco, Texas where they practiced their religion and collected a large arsenal of weapons. Koresh indoctrinated his followers in his militant ideas and his self-centered sexual teachings. He sang and played guitar to give his teachings more nuance. Koresh systemically slept with other church member’s wives and married underage girls but it was the stockpile of weapons and ammunition and religious gun culture that drew the attention of the news media and government. In March of 1993 the ATF launched a raid against the Waco compound. A gun battle and 51 day siege ensued. A fire broke out and 77 Branch Davidians died, including David Koresh and 20 children.

The Manson Family Cult was the most notorious cult that rose up out of the 1960s spiritual, underground drug culture that embraced drug use, civil disobedience, crime, including murder, and lowered sexual inhibitions. Many, mostly Liberal and Democrat indoctrinated young poeple, were drawn deeper into counter culture lifestyles. Charles Manson, founded a group he called ‘The Family’ in San Francisco in 1967. It was one of many communes established during the 60s. Manson – a convicted felon – had served jail time and used sex, drugs and music to seduce lonely, isolated young people to his circle of intimates. He drew his erratic beliefs from Scientology, Satanism and other esoteric teachings.

Charles Manson prophesied that America would soon fall into a race war he named ‘Helter Skelter’, after a Beatles song. He said that the war would be won by the African Americans, but that that they would soon turn to white people for leadership. It was Manson’s intention to hide during the war, only emerging later to assume leadership over the victors. The group committed several murders in order to speed up the race war by framing black people for those murders of white people including Sharon Tate and Abigail Folger. The family still markets bad coffee. After finally being caught, the self proclaimed ‘God of Love and Sex’ and many of his followers spent the rest of their days in jail.

No talk of cult would be complete without mention of a group founded by the ‘reverend’ Jim Jones who, like many other infamous cult leaders in history, deceived many people with his blatant reinterpretations of the Bible and his radical ideas. He was an adulterer who seduced vulnerable women, taking advantage of his power over them and their families. Practicing mostly in the deep south he attracted many African-Americans from the 1950s to the 1970s. There is more to the story but the end of the cult came after the group fled the U.S. to Guyana to escape the, Jones prophesied, nuclear war and religious persecution. The entire congregation of roughly 900 members, including children committed suicide by drinking cyanide laced, flavored, powdered beverage. Some partook at gunpoint. Many were shot outright for refusing or attempting to flee. Most died holding hands. Jim Jones did not survive.

‘The Virtuous Hysterically Frightened Cult of the Pointlessly Symbolic Mask’ was born of an extremely well co-ordinated and ruthless, fraudulent pandemic along with carefully timed and restrictive measures to manufacture fear and compliance. The membership grew as news of the falsified deaths and case numbers were broadcasted to an already confused and fearful population. The masses were told that their safety was paramount and that they would have to comply to draconian measures meant to preserve safety and life itself. In spite of ample scientific evidence, ‘local un-elected’ health technocrats determined that masking was essential to flattening the curve even if there is also strong scientific evidence that masking is a source of self harm much like self flagellation in certain Christian and Islamic rites. Masking has become a source of redemption of sin and devotion to the cult. Non compliance is seen as a sin that can only be forgiven by yet more compliance or punishment. The endorphins created by self righteousness and virtue of wearing the symbolic mask of salvation are addictive and oxygen deprivation further enhances to effect. The cult assumes a zombie mob like population with children being the most vulnerable. Like most cults, the life and well being of it’s members is expendable in favor of the group. Group think is very powerful on minds already weakened by fear and oxygen deprivation. Limiting communication, socialization and exercising censorship on social and news to compromised already week minds is happening now. This is by design. It is a death cult that believes they are being saved. Resistance is not futile. Unmask and un-muzzle yourself. Breathe! Think! Act!
