Sometimes Ya Can’t Say FUCK! Enough

I solemnly swear to not use the word throughout this piece. Is the word still a bad word? It’s been around since about AD1475. The word is a profane English-language word that often refers to the act of sexual intercourse and even then, relegated to the thoughts and places still frowned on by polite society…if indeed polite society still exists. The word is also commonly used to express frustration, surprise, anger, delight, love….well, any emotion, person, place or thing. By adding ‘in’ or ‘ing’, the word can be used to describe detestable things like ‘idiot’, ‘bastard’, ‘bitch’, ‘arsehole’, ‘moron’, ‘loser’, ‘Liberal’, ‘Fascist’, ‘Socialist’, ‘Communist’, ‘Globalist’, ‘Democrat’, ‘snowflake’, ‘wad’, ‘wit’ or ‘sheep’. It can be used randomly and to excess to add color to conversations or to shock the milque toast, Starbucks types. It can get boring real fast. It could be the word that you say before you finally realize that everyone, especially the people you care about, is in mortal and existential danger and that you have to help do something about it…with a capital IT at the end of it.

There is an argument that use of profanity is a sign of a lack of intelligence. This is quite often true. For lack of intelligence and the ability to articulate, the Fbomb is used to cover for dumb. There are and have been exceptions. George Carlin and Lenny Bruce were clearly intelligent men that normalized foul language to accentuate their routines and titillate while commenting on the inherent stupidity of people.

Lenny Bruce is quoted as saying the following :

“If you can’t say (the word), you can’t say, “(the word) the governmen.t”

“Every day people are straying from the church and going back to God.”

“Communism is like one big phone company.”

“If Jesus had been killed twenty years ago, Catholic school children would be wearing little electric chairs around their necks instead of crosses.”

Lenny Bruce died of a heroin overdose in 1966. He said some amazing, profane and true things.

And from George Carlin :

“He – and if there is a God, I am convinced he is a he, because no woman could or would ever (the word) things up this badly.”

“Here’s all you have to know about men and women : women are crazy, men are stupid. And the main reason women are crazy is that men are stupid.”

“Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.”

George Carlin died of heart failure at the age of 77. Check out his classic bit – ‘7 Words You Can’t Say On T.V.’…before they are flushed down the politically correct YouTube memory hole forever. Intelligent speech and thought are to be eliminated.

Both comedians were cultural icons and spoke a lot of truth that the establishment didn’t want to be heard. They were modern day philosophers that said (THE WORD) IT !!!! Should I use the word now? Would it provide greater impact? Will you think badly of me?
