No Risk, No Story

I saw a post on Facecrack by @jayyanginspires. He is a youngish social media influencer, marketer and author of some sort with a focus on health and fitness and seems to have a ‘good’ following. Without going into his history or credentials and without being able to verify whether the following advice or thoughts are his to quote, I found them worth giving space in my head to.

Every minute, every word, every motion and every thought has risk these days. The existential threats of kinetic war, environmental catastrophe, civil unrest, political oppression and persecution are enhanced. Every little bit of wisdom or solemn prayer helps to ease the anxiety of accepting risk. Everyone has a story. Apparently the risk is in the telling during wartime.

1- Fear doesn’t stop death; it stops life.

2- If it costs you your peace, it’s too expensive.

3- People only see the decisions you made, not the choices you had.

4- Never take criticism from someone you wouldn’t take advice from.

5- The magic you’re looking for is in the work you’re avoiding.

6- Ambition without actionturns into anxiety.

7-To live a life most people don’t, you must be willing to do what most people won’t.

8- You can do anything, but not everything – focus.

9- If you want to make the wrong decision, ask everyone.

10- It’s okay to live a life most people don’t understand.

11- You can’t have a new reality with an old mentality.

12- No risk, no story.
