Subject: Indictable Offenses Committed By Canadian Politicians and Health Officials – A Soldiers Perspective
It’s sad to think that honouring our Canadian veterans has become a mere exercise in virtue signalling, and then, only when convenient. These annual events have been reduced in national and social importance by the legacy political class, whether by lack of funding for veteran’s affairs and medical care, or the wavering in the winds of political posturing. Our veterans swore an oath to serve Canada and in most cases served honourably as have most public servants – and politicians who have rarely served honourably at all. Our veterans risked injury and death in service to our country. Many died fulfilling their oath. Few politicians suffer or die while directing soldiers to serve or follow orders. Soldiers are often dismissed as members of the working class and beneath the political elite, to be used for good or ill and then only as needed.
It’s also sadly hypocritical to see Memorial Day ceremonies attended by masked politicians that have supported the suspension and removal of rights under The Canadian charter of Rights and Freedoms. These are awkward and tone deaf photo ops at best.
Many of our actively serving soldiers and veterans are highly intelligent and intuitive Canadians that have chosen a career of service and who have much more to offer Canadians in both perspective and action both while active and retired. They continue to serve with passion long after the politicians have moved on to the next political opportunity.
The saddest of all will occur when the political class calls on the military to take aggressive action on it’s own people. We are living in a manufactured age of crisis where politicians are counting on the compliance of the military to act unlawfully. It will be sad and horrific when the first shots are fired and the first peaceful protester falls. The current illegitimate governments have threatened concerned and peaceful Canadians with violence using dangerous and divisive rhetoric. The actions taken against the protesters thus far has been disgraceful, bordering on inhumane and immoral. It’s clear that the governments intend on doubling down on dangerous and outright stupid.
I/We can only hope that there is a majority within the military and other policing entities that will stand down and refuse unlawful and immoral orders.
