Dear Premier Smith,
Many of us are encouraged by the words and actions to come from your office thus far. There is still much to be done to ensure that Alberta strengthens the firewall against federal overreach and non-government organization influences over government at all levels. Surely you agree that more scrutiny and engagement is needed leading up to and beyond the upcoming election. Many of these issues should be raised and addressed to alert voters of the consequences of voting for the NDP, the LPC, or any other party that stands only to split the vote. Better still is that these issues be used to turn voter complacency into positive action for the UCP. The following is a letter sent to Airdrie City Council and mayor as well as our regional UCP MPs. It would be encouraging to hear from them.
Regards,
Al Neitsch

Land acknowledgements, also known as territorial affirmations, are statements that recognize both the land and the Indigenous people who lived and travelled on the land prior to Canada’s sometimes troubled colonial history.
These acknowledgements are most often prepared statements, read verbatim, as if in ritual prayer. They are meant, like most initiatives born of United Nations or UNESCO agendas, to raise awareness and inclusion of people and issues deemed important to all people even when proven not relevant to ordinary people living within the protection and governance offered by The Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms or The Alberta Bill of Rights.
Land acknowledgements are forcibly offered as if to relieve the audience of the responsibility to think about Indigenous people, at least until the next public event. They are offered before public sessions of government, sporting events, civil ceremonies or basically wherever audiences and attendees might be subject to public shame presented as respect and awareness of injustices of the past.
The advent of political correctness and compelled speech as well as the 2015 release of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s final report, land acknowledgements have become ubiquitous but they cannot undo or appease the injustices or benign neglect of all governments who systemically paid only lip service and misdirected funding to ‘help’ indigenous people into self determination. Indigenous people, culture and heritage continue to be shabbily used to further political government and non-government agendas.
“LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS ARE JUST MORAL EXHIBITIONISM”
“THESE STATEMENTS RELIEVE THE SPEAKER AND THE AUDIENCE OF THE RESPONSIBILITY TO THINK ABOUT INDIGENOUS PEOPLES, AT LEAST UNTIL THE NEXT PUBLIC EVENT.” – Graeme Wood
There is growing concern that Indigenous land affirmations and acknowledgements are planned announcements of more insidious agendas that are already manifesting across Canada dating back to 1992 when United Nation’s Agenda 21 was rolled out. Agenda 21 was followed by the United Nation’s ‘Agenda 30 For Sustainable Development’. On June 16, 2021, the Canadian Senate officially passed Bill C-15, an Act respecting the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous peoples (UNDRIP).
The World Health Organization is another non-government organization that is planning to affect the elimination of national sovereignty in favor of a one world government. The Global Pandemic Treaty is all but signed on our behalf. It will ensure that basic human rights and bodily autonomy are eliminated world wide. Any research into the advent and manipulation of UNESCO cultural heritage sites would reveal further United Nations encroachment and sustained attacks on the sovereignty of nations, the freedom of movement, and the property rights of people.
These initiatives have been developed and sold to countries and their governments at all levels as benign ‘feel good’ programs of prosperity and inclusion that on the surface are hard to argue with. Governments sign on to these agreements without knowing the long term consequences and usually under the promise of financial incentives to facilitate further programs that further the now short term Sustainable Development Goals outlined in the United Nation’s Agenda 2030.
It could be easy to believe that any of these combined initiatives unite people in a common effort to preserve cultural heritage and promote collective equity, inclusion and prosperity, all with the ultimate aim of solving a climate crisis and achieving peace and prosperity for all. The reality is that these initiatives promote power struggles, rivalries and even open conflict. The NATO/Russia conflict bears this out. The principle of mandated protection of cultural heritage through non-government United Nations initiatives like The ‘United Nations On The Rights Of Indigenous Peoples’, (UNDRIP) and the divisions created by them demonstrate that the principles of heritage and inclusion can be appropriated for financial, political or geopolitical ends.
The long term reality is that these non government organizations are orchestrating the largest and most thorough transfer of wealth and power from the many to the few in human history. The economic and financial destabilization and banking collapse currently under way is part of the long term strategy. The ongoing escalation of the manufactured culture wars are meant to further destabilize and demoralize the people. This is the goal of the World Economic Forum’s ‘Great Reset’. This is now the short game of globalism.
The actions of governments and their shareholder and stakeholder associations at all levels must be scrutinized. What will the United Conservative Party do to mitigate this threat?
