Alberta Health Services
Poly Tics . Social StudiesThis article in no way reflects on the many doctors, nurses, and other health care workers that choose to uphold the Hippocratic Oath or any other ethical and moral standards that are vital to humane health care. I have met many. many of them. I have also met many that were coerced into making choices that go against ethical and humane standards. The bureaucrats, mangers, and technocrats in ‘health care’ are the most corrupt and have developed a sense of moral virtue that allows them to be subhuman. Or is this trans human? They lack Chromosome 8. The public good or humane public health has taken a back seat in the ambulance to medical and political tyranny.
From the barely truthful, often biased, and highly edited Wikipedia that Albertans have not paid into.
Alberta Health Services (AHS) which is headquartered in Edmonton, Alberta is the single health authority for the Canadian province of Alberta and the “largest integrated provincial health care system” in Canada. AHS delivers medical care on behalf of the provincial Government of Alberta Ministry of Health[4] It operates 850 facilities throughout the province, including hospitals, clinics, continuing care facilities, mental health facilities and community health sites, that provide a variety of programs and services. AHS is the largest employer in the province of Alberta. In 2019, AHS served 4.3 million Albertans with a staff of 125,000 staff and 10,000 physicians,[5] and an annual budget of $15.365 billion.[1] The AHS reports to Minister of Health Jason Copping with Dr. Verna Yiu serving as AHS President and CEO.[6]
The following are excerpts from Albert Health Services website that Albertans pay $15 Billion annually into.
“Who We Are
- Alberta Health Services (AHS) is proud to be part of Canada’s first and largest provincewide, fully integrated health system, responsible for delivering health services to more than 4.4 million people living in Alberta, as well as to some residents of Saskatchewan, B.C. and the Northwest Territories.
- AHS has more than 108,600 direct AHS employees (excluding Covenant Health and other contracted service providers) and more than 12,500 staff working in AHS’ wholly-owned subsidiaries such as Alberta Precision Laboratories, Carewest and CapitalCare Group. AHS is also supported by approximately 12,200 volunteers and more than 10,900 physicians practicing in Alberta, approximately 9,000 of whom are members of the AHS medical staff (including active, temporary and community appointments).
- Students from Alberta’s universities and colleges, as well as from universities and colleges outside of Alberta, receive clinical education in AHS facilities and community locations.
- AHS has 106 acute care hospitals, five stand-alone psychiatric facilities, 8,513 acute care beds, 27,973 continuing care beds/spaces including 257 community palliative and hospice beds/spaces, 2,840 addiction and mental health beds/spaces, plus equity partnership in 40 primary care networks.
- Programs and services are offered at more than 900 facilities throughout the province, including hospitals, clinics, continuing care facilities, cancer centres, mental health facilities and community health sites.
- The province also has an extensive network of community-based services designed to assist Albertans in maintaining and improving their overall health status.
Our History
- Canada’s first province-wide, fully integrated health system, announced on May 15, 2008, by Ron Liepert, Minister of Health and Wellness.
- We bring together 12 formerly separate health entities in the province including three geographically based health authorities, Alberta Alcohol and Drug Abuse Commission (AADAC), Alberta Mental Health Board and Alberta Cancer Board. Ground ambulance service was added to the responsibilities of AHS in an announcement from Alberta Health and Wellness on May 30, 2008. The services were moved from municipalities to AHS effective April 1, 2009.

Building a diverse and inclusive work environment
At Alberta Health Services, we strive to build a workplace that’s a reflection of the Albertans we serve. We are committed to developing a work environment that is physically and psychologically safe for staff and patients alike. It’s our ongoing dedication that has allowed us to be recognized as one of Canada’s Top Diversity Employers for three years in a row.
As an organization, we take the time to celebrate the differences in our experiences, viewpoints, backgrounds, and cultures that bring us closer together.”
As with any crowing from a publicly funded corporation operating as a private corporation, the best presentations of politically correct ideology is always available to all with the stomach to view it.
The truth is that AHS, like most publicly funded corporations have been incentivised and coerced into complying with edicts passed down by corrupt governments that have abandoned any rights that were once promised under oath to the people they are to serve.
Under the current, unlawful medical tyranny, AHS is destroying any semblance of diversity, inclusivity, and equity that they may boast of. In many cases The Hippocratic Oath, which is to be the foundation of ethical medicine everywhere, is subject to the most dangerous hypocrisy.
Any claims AHS may have to inclusivity, equity and diversity are based only the superficial criteria. It’s easy to round up and trot out employees with visible differences, wearing the usual healthcare props, for a photo op to support the claims of inclusivity. AHS is not obliged to disclose any political or religious ideologies of their diverse workforce for, you guessed it, ‘privacy concerns’. It’s enough to only claim these inclusions.
AHS employees are now be discriminated against on internal and what are meant to be extremely private and personal criteria. They are being segregated and bullied into compliance to violations of what makes them human.
The greatest violation to the AHS’ claims to diversity and inclusion comes from making illegal, experimental, medical interventions mandatory to all 12,500 or 125,000 (depending on the source) staff in their employ. None of these ‘health care professionals’ have been offered ‘informed consent’ or allowed to exercise their right to ‘bodily autonomy’. AHS staff are subject to the same harmful effects and even death of the rest of the population who are also being subject to the same medical ‘treatment’ and intervention.
Any staff that for any reason question or refuse to be coerced into unlawful medical intervention are harassed, bullied, segregated, disciplined, placed on suspension, and even fired without compensation.
Does this sound like equity and inclusivity?
The larger, more telling question would be whether or not AHS directors, managers, or bureaucrats are subject to the same mandates and edicts imposed on staff. We already know that members of federal, provincial, and municipal governments are entitling themselves to exemption.
Perhaps it’s time to dive deep into the machinations of all publicly funded unethical, criminal organizations.
Perhaps Nuremberg 2.0 will help to re-establish integrity and accountability into public health care.
Perhaps a Great Reset of the healthcare system is required.
